Swipe through to learn the difference between a d/b/a and registering your biz! 👉🏼

For example, if you registered your business as an LLC under the name of "Sam's Coffee Mugs LLC" in California but you want to have your "marketing" name (ie, your social handles, website name, the name on your biz cards, etc) be "Mugs 'n Stuff" you'd register a d/b/a to legally connect your LLC to the business name you actually want to use in your marketing.

A lot of you might not know this, but I'm working

A lot of you might not know this, but I'm working on my book proposal so that I can write a book! 🤗📖

Truthfully, it's a work in progress 😂. Right now, it's just my story and a whole bunch of business advice neatly typed up in Karla 12-point font in my book proposal on Google Drive.

I've been working on it for awhile now (with LOADS of help from my fav @richellefredson) - but a few life things have gotten in the way (hello losing my dad to cancer 💔). It's just been patiently waiting for me to reveal to the world. 🌏

I haven't taken the "official" steps to get my book to an agent/publisher yet (but will so soon!), but today I'm taking a step toward putting my story and my truth out into the world. 🥰

I'm sharing a little excerpt of my proposal — something super raw & personal with you.
