A concept I think about a lot in the online business space and social media is…

​Not to base our business decisions on what we see others doing.​
​
For example: You see someone write off a specific business expense, so you decide to do it, too.
​
But what you don’t see is when they get in trouble with the IRS…because they don’t post about that part, lol.
​
Whether it’s finances, legal, or administrative – we can’t base what we do in our business on others’ choices, no matter how trustworthy they seem. Plus, that reasoning will never hold up in court.​
