Sam Vander Wielen:
Hey there, and welcome back to On Your Terms. I am so excited to share a big announcement with you today. This is something I haven’t done in a very long time and I’m very excited to invite you to this.
So, if you are someone who is sick of trying to figure out the legal stuff on your own, and you’re even more confused than when you started after doing hours of Google research and it still doesn’t make sense, or you’ve tried piecing together legal docs on your own only to worry like, "Does this contract actually protect me? I’m not really sure what it says," and if you’re actually just looking for a clear step-by-step plan to very quickly and easily legally protect your business so you can move on, sleep tight at night and feel more confident, if you’re ready to put the worrying behind you, not knowing if your business is legit or not, and instead shift to focusing on moving forward and confidently sharing about your business, shouting about it from the rooftops, then you’re going to be very happy to hear that I am offering a brand new live and free class called How to Legally Protect your Online Business in 2024.
I’m going to give you the five simple steps that every entrepreneur must take before it’s too late to legally protect your business. And I’m hosting it twice live in just a couple of weeks, on Tuesday, February 20th, and Wednesday, February 21st. You have to sign up in order to get the replay. So, even if you can’t come live, I’m going to send out the replay to people who sign up. So, you’re going to want to make sure to go down to the show notes and click the link to sign up for this brand new live free class, How to Legally Protect your Online Business in 2024.
So, at this live class, you’re going to learn a couple of new things that I’ve never taught before, at least live or anywhere else. So, the first thing I’m going to cover in this live class is what’s changing in online business that you need to be aware of so that you’re legally protected. I’m also going to give you a little preview of some of the legal changes that are coming for your online business in 2024. So, we’ll be very quickly talking about the new BOI Law, the Beneficial Ownership Information Law, some recent and kind of more persistent crackdown on coaching that I’ve seen from the Federal Government, and big email changes that are coming if you want to make sure people actually receive your emails when you’re sending them out to your email list.
We’re also talking about future proofing and how legally protecting your business is about really thinking about what you’re trying to build here and focusing on what you’re trying to build not the exact business that you have today. I want you to start embodying this mindset of you’re already headed where you want to go, now what kind of steps does that kind of business take. We’re going to talk about how that shift in my own mindset led to millions and millions of dollars in my own sales.
We’ll also go over how to form your business and do it right and some of the common mistakes I see people make. I’ll talk with you about the differences between LLCs and sole proprietorships, which one is best for you at what time and the steps that you need to take to actually form your business. I’ll go over business insurance and what business insurance is, how it financially protects you, and my best tips to going about easily and quickly getting it in place for your business, if you even need it, which we’ll also go over.
I’ll chat with you about what scope of practice is, which is what you’re legally allowed to do and not do, and how to figure out what you’re legally allowed to offer in your online business and what stuff you should stay away from. Last, but not least, I will also go over what kind of contracts you need for your services and products, which ones you really need now versus what stuff can really wait, and how you’re actually supposed to deliver them to your clients, like can you put them in a checkbox at checkout? Do they have to be signed? We’ll go over all your contract questions.
The best part about doing this live class is that you also get to come and ask me any questions that you have. So, if you come to this webinar live, you can drop in the chat and ask me any questions that you have. I always stick around until the end until everybody’s question is answered. And if you can’t come live, you can submit your question ahead of time, or you can watch the replay because we always get hundreds of really awesome questions in the live show.
So, this is happening only twice. This is your only opportunity to sign up for this live free class called How to Legally Protect your Online Business in 2024. It’s happening on Tuesday, February 20th at 4:00 p.m. Eastern, 1:00 p.m. Pacific. And then, I’m hosting it again live on Wednesday, February 21st at 1:00 p.m. Eastern, 10:00 a.m. Pacific.
